Daily Ritual
The Daily
Ritual
Your body doesn't need the same thing at 7 AM that it needs at 9 PM, so we made three shots to match the rhythm of your body.
Three cold-pressed, HPP shots timed to the way your energy, focus, and recovery actually move across a day — each dosed to be absorbed, not just swallowed.
Your local time —
One body, three very different
shifts in a day.
Most supplements ask you to take everything at once, usually with breakfast, and hope it lands. But the systems those ingredients act on aren't running at the same speed all day. Here's the shape of a normal one.
Cortisol spikes, then falls
Within 30–45 minutes of waking, cortisol peaks — the body's own start signal. It's the window where clean stimulation and immune support are most welcome and least likely to interfere with sleep 14–16 hours later.
The post-lunch dip
Alertness drops in the early afternoon on a rhythm independent of what you ate. A second coffee here is the common fix — and the one most likely to still be in your bloodstream at bedtime.
Melatonin onset, repair begins
As light drops, melatonin rises and the body shifts into repair — tissue turnover, muscle and joint recovery, memory consolidation. This is when calming and rebuilding inputs are actually usable.
Ritual is the delivery mechanism. Three fixed moments a day are easier to keep than a pill organizer — and consistency, not heroic dosing, is what most nutrient research is actually measuring.
It's not what you swallow.
It's what your body actually takes in.
You can take a big dose of something and still end up with very little of it. What matters is how much makes it into your bloodstream — and four simple things decide that.
A shot is already dissolved
A pill has to break apart in your stomach and dissolve before your body can use any of it. For some ingredients that's the slowest part of the whole trip.[25]
A shot skips it. It's already liquid, so it's ready the moment you drink it.
Your body has a ceiling
You can only take in so much of a nutrient at a time. With vitamin C, you absorb most of a normal dose — but the bigger the dose gets, the smaller the share you keep. The rest leaves in your urine.[1]
A huge number on the label doesn't mean a huge amount gets in. See the chart below.
Two labels can say the same word
"Magnesium" covers a cheap version your body barely absorbs and a better one it absorbs well and that's gentler on your stomach. We use the second.[21]
Same story with probiotics: most get killed by stomach acid. Ours has a natural protective shell that survives the trip.[11]
Cold, never cooked
Most juices are heated to make them safe to sell. Heat also destroys some of the vitamins you're paying for.
We use cold pressure instead — safe without cooking — so more of what we put in the bottle is still there when you open it.[23][24]
How much of a vitamin C dose your body actually absorbs, based on human studies.[1] The green bar is the amount in Rise.
This is why a 1,000 mg vitamin C pill doesn't give you eleven times what 90 mg does. Past a point, you're paying for expensive pee.
Every ingredient below opens up.
Tap any ingredient and you'll see three things: what it does, how much is in the bottle, and how much the researchers used — plus a link to the study, if you want to check us.
Sometimes our amount matches the research exactly, and we'll point that out. Sometimes it's smaller — a daily top-up rather than a study-sized dose — and we'll tell you that too. You should be able to decide for yourself.
Ignite your day before the world catches up.
Clean energy, sharp focus, and immune support in a single 2 oz pour. Caffeine from green coffee, paired with L-theanine at the ratio studied for attention — so the lift arrives without the edge.
Tastes like: orange sunrise — citrus-forward, warm ginger finish, light cayenne heat.
Shop RiseL-Theanine Calm, undistracted focus 100 mg
An amino acid found almost exclusively in tea leaves. On its own it raises alpha-band brain activity — the pattern associated with relaxed alertness. Paired with caffeine, it's the combination that keeps stimulation from tipping into jitter.
This is the most consistently replicated pairing in the cognitive nutrition literature, and the reason a cup of green tea feels different from an equivalent dose of coffee.
Owen et al. gave healthy adults 100 mg L-theanine with 50 mg caffeine and found improved accuracy on attention-switching tasks and reduced susceptibility to distraction versus either alone. Nutr Neurosci, 2008.[2]
Replicated by Giesbrecht et al. at 97 mg + 40 mg (2010)[3] and by Kelly et al. using EEG alpha-band measures (2008).[4]
100 mg L-theanine with 80 mg caffeine. Note that our ratio is more caffeine-forward than the 2:1 used in the trials above — a deliberate choice for a morning shot.
Natural Caffeine From green coffee bean 80 mg
Roughly the caffeine in a standard cup of drip coffee, extracted from unroasted green coffee beans rather than synthesized. In liquid form it doesn't wait on a capsule to dissolve.
Caffeine has a half-life of about five hours in most adults — which is exactly why we put it in the 7 AM shot and left it almost entirely out of the 1 PM one.
A randomized crossover pharmacokinetic trial compared botanically sourced caffeine from green coffee bean extract against synthetic USP caffeine and found the two bioequivalent — same absorption curve, same peak. Natural sourcing is a sourcing choice, not an absorption advantage. Clin Pharmacol Drug Dev, 2018.[5]
80 mg — well within the 400 mg/day the FDA cites as not generally associated with negative effects in healthy adults.
Vitamin C Immune support 90 mg · 100% DV
Vitamin C supports normal immune function and is required for collagen synthesis. Your body can't make it or store much of it, so what matters is a steady daily supply — not an occasional megadose.
90 mg is exactly 100% of the Daily Value, and sits in the range where the body absorbs the large majority of what you give it.
Levine et al. mapped vitamin C pharmacokinetics across oral doses in healthy volunteers, showing near-complete absorption at everyday doses with a steep decline as doses reached the gram range. The work set the current RDA. PNAS, 1996.[1]
Carr & Maggini review the mechanisms linking vitamin C to normal immune cell function. Nutrients, 2017.[9]
90 mg, plus vitamin C occurring naturally in the orange, pineapple, and lemon juice base.
B-Vitamin Complex Niacin, B6, B12 — energy metabolism 100% DV each
B vitamins don't contain energy. They're the cofactors that let your cells convert food into energy — which is why they help only if you're short on them, and why we dose to the Daily Value rather than to a marketing number.
The exception is B12, listed at 2,083% DV. That looks alarming and isn't: B12 absorption is limited by intrinsic factor to roughly 1.5–2 mcg per dose, with only about 1% of the remainder crossing by passive diffusion. Larger label amounts are how you land a normal absorbed dose, not a megadose.
Niacin 16 mg NE (100% DV) · Vitamin B6 1.7 mg (100% DV) · Vitamin B12 50 mcg (2,083% DV, for the absorption reason above).
If your B-vitamin status is already adequate, additional B vitamins will not give you more energy. Anyone claiming otherwise is selling the %DV, not the physiology.
Turmeric Extract 95% curcuminoids — everyday wellness 100 mg
Turmeric has been used as a culinary and wellness botanical for centuries, and curcuminoids are its best-studied constituents. It's also the ingredient in this line with the widest gap between reputation and absorption — so here's the straight version.
Curcumin on its own is poorly absorbed. Research doses are typically far higher than a beverage serving, and usually paired with piperine or a lipid formulation to raise blood levels.
Reviews of curcumin pharmacokinetics consistently describe low oral bioavailability for unformulated curcumin, with clinical work generally using several hundred to a couple thousand milligrams of curcuminoids, often with an absorption enhancer. ACS Omega, 2023.[7]
100 mg of 95% curcuminoid extract, dispersed in liquid rather than compressed in a tablet. We include it as a daily culinary-level contribution to a wellness routine — not as a clinical dose, and we're not going to claim it is one.
Ginger Root Extract Digestive comfort 50 mg
One of the most durable traditional remedies for an unsettled stomach, and among the better-supported botanicals for digestive comfort and gastric motility. It also does most of the flavor work in the finish of this shot.
A systematic review of ginger in gastrointestinal disorders summarizes trials on nausea, gastric emptying and dyspepsia, generally at doses of several hundred to over a thousand milligrams. Food Sci Nutr, 2019.[8]
50 mg concentrated extract — a supportive and flavor-functional amount, below the doses used in the clinical literature.

Filtered water, orange juice, pineapple juice, lemon juice, natural flavors, citric acid, monk fruit extract.
No artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Naturally sweetened with monk fruit — 2 g of sugar, all of it from the juice base. Shake well; separation is normal in a cold-pressed product.
Outsmart the crash. Own the afternoon.
The midday reset. Nootropics, greens and gut support that carry focus through the 2 PM wall — without adding a second dose of caffeine that's still circulating at bedtime.
Tastes like: a green juice — cucumber and apple forward, clean spinach finish.
Shop ThriveProbiotic Bacillus coagulans — digestive support 2 Billion CFU
This is the clearest absorption story in the entire line. Most probiotic strains are fragile: they need refrigeration, and a large share of them are destroyed by stomach acid before ever reaching the intestine.
Bacillus coagulans is different. It forms a protective spore — a dormant shell that survives stomach acid and only wakes up once it reaches the intestine. It's why a spore-former can live in a liquid at all.
Human trials of B. coagulans MTCC 5856 for digestive comfort have used 2 billion CFU per day — the exact dose in this bottle. Nutr J, 2016.[10]
Separate laboratory work confirms the spores' survival across simulated stomach conditions and their adhesion to intestinal lining. J Funct Foods, 2018.[11]
2 Billion CFU of spore-form Bacillus coagulans.
L-Theanine Focus without stimulation 100 mg
In Rise, theanine's job is to smooth caffeine. Here it works largely on its own — raising alpha-band activity associated with relaxed alertness, without adding stimulation to an afternoon that doesn't need it.
This is the deliberate difference between Thrive and a second cup of coffee: focus restored without borrowing it from tonight's sleep.
EEG studies report increased alpha activity, an index of relaxed alertness, at 50–200 mg L-theanine in the absence of caffeine. Asia Pac J Clin Nutr, 2008.[27]
100 mg, mid-range of the studied window.
Green Tea Extract 50% EGCG — gentle energy 100 mg
EGCG is green tea's principal catechin, best known as an antioxidant and, alongside caffeine, for a modest effect on calorie burn. In this formula it's here for the light lift and antioxidant content, not as a weight-management ingredient.
Dulloo et al.'s classic work used ~90 mg EGCG three times daily alongside caffeine, finding effects beyond caffeine alone. Am J Clin Nutr, 1999.[14]
100 mg of 50% EGCG extract ≈ 50 mg EGCG, and a small amount of naturally occurring caffeine. Below the daily totals used in the metabolic literature — this is a focus-and-antioxidant dose.
Spirulina Whole-food greens 250 mg
A blue-green algae with an unusually dense nutrient profile — protein, carotenoids, and phycocyanin, the pigment responsible for most of its antioxidant activity. It's a whole-food green, not an isolated compound.
A review of human spirulina applications describes trials generally in the 1–8 gram per day range. Evid Based Complement Alternat Med, 2011.[12]
250 mg, alongside cold-pressed spinach and cucumber juice. A daily greens contribution, well below clinical trial doses — we'd rather say that than round it up.
CoQ10 Ubiquinone — cellular energy 50 mg
Coenzyme Q10 sits inside the part of your cells that turns food into usable energy. Levels decline gradually with age.
It's also fat-soluble, which is the honest caveat: CoQ10 absorbs best when taken with a meal containing some fat.
Pharmacokinetic reviews describe CoQ10 as poorly and variably absorbed, with uptake substantially improved by dietary fat and by solubilized formulations. Free Radic Res, 2006.[13]
50 mg ubiquinone. Take Thrive with or just after lunch rather than on an empty stomach — that single change does more for this ingredient's absorption than any formulation claim we could print.
B-Vitamin Complex Niacin, B6, B12, Pantothenic acid 100% DV each
The same cofactor logic as Rise, dosed to the Daily Value: these support normal energy metabolism rather than providing energy themselves.
Niacin 16 mg NE (100% DV) · B6 1.7 mg (100% DV) · B12 25 mcg (1,042% DV) · Pantothenic acid 5 mg (100% DV).

Six functional actives across focus, energy and gut. Caffeine-light by design — the small amount present comes naturally from the green tea extract.
Tonight you rest. Tomorrow you rise stronger.
The nightly wind-down. Clinically studied KSM-66 ashwagandha, magnesium glycinate and tart cherry ease the body toward sleep, while marine collagen supports overnight skin and joint repair.
Tastes like: tart cherry and blackberry — deep, jammy, barely sweet.
Shop RestoreKSM-66® Ashwagandha Root extract — stress support 300 mg
An adaptogen used in Ayurvedic practice for centuries and, more recently, one of the better-studied botanicals in modern supplement research. KSM-66 is a specific full-spectrum root extract — the one most of the published human trials actually used, which is why the branded form matters.
Its effect is on the stress axis rather than sedation: it doesn't knock you out, it lowers the thing keeping you up.
Chandrasekhar et al. gave chronically stressed adults 300 mg twice daily for 60 days, reporting significantly reduced serum cortisol and stress-scale scores versus placebo. Indian J Psychol Med, 2012.[15]
Salve et al. tested 250 mg/day and 600 mg/day over 60 days, with both arms reducing cortisol and perceived stress versus placebo. Cureus, 2019.[16]
Langade et al. reported improved sleep onset latency and sleep efficiency at 300 mg twice daily. Cureus, 2019.[17]
300 mg KSM-66 — above the 250 mg arm shown effective in Salve et al., and half the 600 mg/day used in the two twice-daily protocols. A real daily dose, honestly placed.
Magnesium Glycinate Relaxation & muscle function 100 mg · 24% DV
Magnesium is involved in hundreds of reactions in the body, including those governing muscle relaxation and nervous system regulation. A large share of adults fall short of the recommended intake.
The form is the point. Magnesium oxide is cheap and poorly absorbed; magnesium bound to the amino acid glycine is absorbed better and is far gentler on the digestive tract — which matters a great deal in a product you take right before bed.
A controlled absorption comparison found magnesium diglycinate better absorbed than magnesium oxide. JPEN, 1994.[21]
A systematic review of magnesium for subjective anxiety and stress found generally positive but methodologically mixed evidence, at doses typically well above 100 mg. Nutrients, 2017.[22]
100 mg elemental magnesium as glycinate — 24% of the Daily Value, in a well-absorbed and low-discomfort form. A meaningful nightly top-up toward your daily total, rather than a standalone therapeutic dose.
Tart Cherry Extract Montmorency — sleep support 200 mg
Tart cherry is one of the few whole foods containing naturally occurring melatonin, along with compounds that appear to increase the availability of tryptophan — what your body uses to make its own melatonin.
That's the reason there's no synthetic melatonin in this bottle. Supporting your own production is a different mechanism from overriding it, and it doesn't carry the grogginess many people report from melatonin tablets.
Howatson et al. gave healthy adults tart cherry juice concentrate twice daily for seven days, measuring raised melatonin and increased total sleep time and sleep efficiency. Eur J Nutr, 2012.[18]
Losso et al. found increased sleep time in older adults with insomnia using twice-daily tart cherry juice. Am J Ther, 2018.[19] A 2025 systematic review summarizes the field. Food Sci Nutr, 2025.[26]
200 mg concentrated extract, in a base of real tart cherry and blackberry juice. Worth knowing: the trials above used considerably larger daily servings of juice or concentrate than a 2 oz shot delivers.
Marine Collagen Peptides Skin & joint support 1,000 mg
Collagen protein is far too large to be absorbed whole. Hydrolyzing it breaks the chains into short peptides small enough to pass into your bloodstream — which is the entire reason "hydrolyzed" or "peptides" appears on any collagen label worth buying.
Marine collagen is predominantly Type I, the type most abundant in skin. Evening dosing lines up with the overnight window when tissue repair is highest.
Proksch et al., the reference skin trial, used 2.5 g or 5 g of specific collagen peptides daily for 8 weeks, reporting improved skin elasticity. Skin Pharmacol Physiol, 2014.[20] Later reviews cluster in the 2.5–10 g/day range.
1,000 mg hydrolyzed marine collagen peptides. Straight answer: that's below the doses used in the skin-elasticity trials. It's a daily contribution in an already-absorbable form — if collagen is your primary goal, this shot supplements a routine rather than replacing a dedicated collagen dose.
L-Theanine Wind-down 100 mg
The same amino acid that smooths caffeine in the morning does something quieter at night: it supports the transition out of an alert state, without sedation and without a next-day hangover.
It appears in all three shots because its effect depends entirely on what it's paired with — a genuinely time-flexible ingredient.
Alpha-band EEG increases associated with relaxed alertness are reported at 50–200 mg. Asia Pac J Clin Nutr, 2008.[27]

Filtered water, tart cherry juice, blackberry juice, natural flavors, citric acid, monk fruit extract.
Contains marine collagen (fish). Not vegan. Caffeine-free, and free of synthetic melatonin.
One shot, three times a day.
That's the whole protocol.
No scoops, no water, no timer app. Twelve shots per kit — four of each — which is four full days of the ritual, or a flexible week if you're using it selectively.
Shake and drink within an hour of waking, before or with breakfast.
Skip your first coffee, or halve it — there's already 80 mg of caffeine here.
With or just after lunch. Taking it with food meaningfully improves CoQ10 absorption.
If your slump lands at 3 PM rather than 2, move it later. The clock is a guide, not a rule.
Roughly 30–60 minutes before bed, as part of winding down.
Ashwagandha's effects build with consistent use over weeks rather than appearing on night one.
12 × 2 fl oz (59 mL) recyclable PET bottles — 4 Rise, 4 Thrive, 4 Restore.
Keep refrigerated at 34–40°F. 90-day shelf life. Shake before drinking.
Pure Green — cold-pressed juice and superfood specialists.
Questions worth asking
before you buy anything like this.
Do I have to take all three?+
No. Each shot is formulated to stand alone, and plenty of people use only Rise or only Restore. The three-part ritual is designed around a full day, but if what you actually need is help sleeping, Restore on its own is a legitimate way to use this product.
Will Rise make me jittery?+
80 mg of caffeine is roughly one cup of drip coffee, and it's paired with 100 mg of L-theanine — the combination studied specifically for attention without the edge. If you're caffeine-sensitive, the thing to watch isn't Rise on its own; it's Rise plus your usual coffee. Try replacing rather than adding.
Is there melatonin in Restore?+
No synthetic melatonin. Tart cherry contains a small amount of naturally occurring melatonin and compounds that support your body's own production. That's a gentler mechanism than a 5 mg melatonin tablet — and also a milder one. If you need a pharmacological knockout, this isn't that product, and we'd rather tell you now.
Why is the B12 listed at 2,083% of the Daily Value?+
Because B12 absorption is capped. Your body can only take in about 1.5–2 mcg per dose through its main pathway, and only about 1% of anything beyond that gets in passively. A larger label amount is how you reliably land a normal absorbed dose. The percentage looks dramatic; the biology is ordinary.
Is a shot really better than a pill?+
For some things, yes — a liquid doesn't have to break apart and dissolve first, and it's a lot easier to actually take three times a day, which is where most people fall off. But not for everything: CoQ10 needs a little fat to absorb well, so a capsule with a meal can do just as well there. We'd rather be specific than make a blanket claim.
Why do the doses vary so much from what the studies used?+
Because a 2 oz beverage has real formulation limits — volume, taste, stability and cost all constrain what fits. Some actives here match their studied doses exactly (L-theanine, the probiotic, vitamin C, and KSM-66 within its studied range). Others, like collagen and spirulina, are daily contributions well below clinical doses. We list both numbers on every ingredient so you can judge for yourself instead of taking our word for it.
Can I take these with medication, or while pregnant?+
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist first. That applies particularly to ashwagandha, which is generally not recommended during pregnancy and can interact with thyroid, sedative and immunosuppressant medications, and to the caffeine in Rise. This is a food product, not medical advice, and no page on the internet can assess your situation.
Do they need to be refrigerated?+
Yes — 34–40°F, with a 90-day shelf life. Cold pressure gives us food safety without heat, but it isn't shelf-stability. The cold chain is the trade we make to avoid cooking away the nutrients we just paid for.
Start the ritual.
The 12-shot kit — four Rise, four Thrive, four Restore. Enough to find out whether timing actually changes how a day feels.
